The Dance Arts Competition Team, Fusion is comprised of our most dedicated and elite dancers. Students are selected by audition and perform at a variety of local events and competitions.

Competition Team Requirements & Information:

A detailed contract is available at the studio. The contract must be filled out and signed by both parent and student and turned in to the office on or before Thursday, June 9th in order to audition. Please contact the studio if you would like to have a copy of the contract sent to you.

Audition Times- Saturday June 11th

3:00-3:30p     Ages 5 - 6       Jazz, Lyrical, & Tap

3:30p-4:30p   Ages 7-10       Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip hop and Solos

4:30p-5:30p   Ages 11-12     Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip hop and Solos

5:30p-6:30p   Ages 13 -18    Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop

6:30p-7:00p   Ages 13 -18    Solos

Audition Attire

Please arrive ready to dance - hair in bun and wearing leotard/tights/jazz pants, and ballet or jazz shoes. Hip hop students where comfortable clothes you can move in, and clean sneakers.

Audition Procedure

- Students will receive a number to pin on the front and back of their outfit

-  Parents please wait in lobby, viewing window will be covered

-  Students will be given a brief warm up/stretch, then will travel across the floor demonstrating technical skills, and finally learn a routine to be performed in groups of four

- Results of audition will be emailed on Monday June 20th.
